2005 Chevy Silverado 1500 – Joe V.

5.3 Crew Cab, Z71/G80 “Arrest Me Red” color, 112K miles Manual HVAC, Tilt-n-Fold outside mirrors, some very minor dents scars in the bed – etc.
This was an impulse buy one day when my wife wanted a “little pickup truck” and the first one we saw was this Champion Red, Crew Cab on a lot up the road at a wholesaler I knew of, but not well “little” it was not and she loved it!
It checked all the right boxes — a 5.3 without DOD or whatever the other system was called and it had 4 big doors and – it was a Z71 (which my wife had NO idea what that meant) and — did I say it was red?
It was a SoCal truck that got wholesaled in Seattle and brought to where we saw it in Montana. It had no rust – anywhere – which means a lot in Montana’s salted highways.
4WD and a stock radio that will never get turned on – my wife insists there be silence in the vehicle! Sadly, to this day she has NO IDEA how the factory Bose 8.1 system could sound. <gack!>
I added the tonneau, the stirrups for in-egress, a GMRS radio, Chrome box rails, LEDs every place I could find a place, 5 new, matching LT Snowflake tires, new front rotors and pads, new rear p-brake shoes (someone dragged them I think) and add-on LED driving lights for deer — which we have a LOT here!
I’ll have to upload a few more pixs of her truck on this ‘puter to post them here.
