1955 Ford F100 – Hugh S.

In 1955, my wife’s uncle bought the Ford F-100 from a Ford dealership in Houston, Texas. Her cousin began driving the Ford in 1964, and during each week in the summer, the two high school cousins drove the truck and sat in heavy traffic for many hours traveling to and from work each day. In 1978, the Ford was parked and left in her cousin’s garage after his death in April, 2018. In 2021, I acquired the 1955 Ford from his widow and began restoring it with help from JJM Auto Paint & Body, Schwanke Engines, who provided me with the running/rolling chassis, and Precision Headliners & Auto Trim. Without my wife’s encouragement and the extensive parts and assistance from LMC Motors, this challenging endeavor would not have been possible. It is my hope the 1955 Ford F-100 will remain in the family for another 70 years.
