1978 Chevy C10 – Jon L.

Right before I turned 14, I was looking through marketplace for 2024 Kawasaki dirt bikes. I turned and asked my mom, “Mom, what if I get a truck instead?” She said, “Absolutely!” This was the most shocked a have been in a while! I started looking for 2014 F150’s, then 2006 F250 diesel. None of these worked out for me, until my mom text me saying she found the truck! I was thinking it was another one of those newer trucks I have been looking for. Then she sent me a picture of it, and it was an ole square body! Later on, we got more serious about it, so we went to go look at it at a Walmart right next to Fort Cambel TN. We pulled the trigger on it and drove that hour and a half drive in a 46-year-old truck. Then on my birthday we were driving it to my grandparents and the engine blew. This was the perfect excuse to rebuild my engine and give it 450 horsepower!
