1989 Ford Ranger – Josh C.

Growing up my dad was a mechanic for Ford. So when I was a Senior in High School (1999)one of my teachers asked me about my dad and if I could talk to him about doing some work for him. He had a 1989 Ford Ranger XLT Sky Blue and Silver two tone. So, I did, and my dad told me to do the work earn the money. Well, after doing all of the work including, new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, tune up and all new brakes. My teacher decided it was time for him to retire and GAVE me the truck for the work I had done. Immediately I went to work on it changing the 2.3 motor out for a 2.5. I installed factory headers with a Flowmaster series 40 with 2 in pipe and 4 inch tips. Had a fresh coat of paint on it (original colors) along with other odds and ends. Here it is 2025 I’ve had the truck for 26 years and I’m about to restore it again.
