1986 GMC C1500 – Deric P.

I bought this truck for my 50th birthday. Drove it on weekends & cruise-ins. A couple of shows. It was a nice driver. It started getting some rust on the cab corners & behind the rear tires. I wanted to stop that before it got too bad. So I talked to a friend about fixing that, and then I lost my mind. I took it all the way down to the frame. But it was one of the best things I ever did, because when I was challenged by some thing, you learn to just work your way through it & figure it out. Now when I’m at shows or cruise-ins, I love the looks on people’s faces when they’re checking out my truck. And it’s done very well in it’s first show season. I’ve heard a lot of comments. One of my favorites was, “This guy called LMC Truck and said, send 1 of everything!”
