1985 Chevy C10 – Chris B.
Hi guys, I have owned this truck for about 10 years and thought it needed a mild freshen up so I replaced the 305 motor with a freshened up 350 stroke motor. I had the seat fully reupholstered then decided it needed new carpet, new stereo system, and clean up the nightmare of a wiring loom. Then I decided I wasn’t a fan of the gloss black paint as it would show every dent and scratch and was always a pain to keep clean, so I decided to get it wrapped. After months of figuring out what color I wanted to go with I ended up going with a metallic gunmetal grey that I’m quite happy with, then I had the outer wing mirrors and doorhandles powder coated in black. I then made my own tubular grill and had it coated in black as well and modified my back bumper arms to tuck the bumper closer into the body, to give it a nice smooth clean look. My next project for this truck will be too lower it down into the weeds, as it still sits higher than I would like. Thanks guys.
