1965 Ford F100 – Jim S.
The first vehicle I purchased on my own was a 1966 F-100 in 1987. Needed lots of TLC. I replaced the cab mounts and the floor pans. Ended up selling it the next year. Have regretted it ever since.
Last summer I came across this one. The person I bought it from didn’t know much about it, except it came from Arizona. The body and undercarriage are surprisingly in really good shape. After getting it home and really looking it over, it is definitely a Frankenstein truck. It has a ’65 F-100 door, F-250 Camper Special cab on a ’75 F350 1 ton chassis.
A lot more than I was looking for, but a perfect fit!
