1981 Chevy K20 – Pamela M.

1981 Chevy Scottsdale 1 ton crew cab 4×4. That’s what the description would be but to my boys and I its Old Blue. My husband had owned it for quite a few years and we used it all the time. The distributor went out on it about 5yrs ago and my husband didn’t get a chance to fix it and passed away unexpectedly. We have 2 teenage sons and our youngest son who will soon be 15yrs old is now on a mission to fix it up to drive when he gets his license. He recently put new tires on it and painted the wheels. With the help of a cousin, he got a new distributor put in it and also rebuilt the carburetor. I am so proud of my son and I know his Dad is smiling down on him rebuilding Old Blue.
