1985 Ford F150 – Robert R.

My Dad purchased the truck on the Ford Employee A Plan which had the XL Explorer 4×4 package on February 7th, 1985, at Two Rivers Ford in Nashville, TN. I inherited the truck when my Dad passed away in 1999, at which point it had clocked over 400 thousand miles on the 300 six. I drove it for the next 4 years until my wife and I moved out of state in 2003. Unfortunately the F150 sat for the next 22 years to be neglected up behind my parents house. My Mom passed in July of 2025 and after the estate was settled I was finally able to move the truck to my house, where I have started the long task of putting it back on the road. Just completed a total brake overhaul, next on the list is getting it running, then the cosmetics. Definitely a labor of love because this old Bullnose is Built Ford Tough!!
