1952 Chevy 3100 – Kevin H.
I have an uncle who is about 83 years old. About 10 years ago he purchased his pickup from the front lawn of a resident in a neighboring town. It reminded him a lot of his childhood. Though the truck was rough and missing a few parts, he drug it home and proceeded to get it painted (root beer copper color). He worked on the engine and transmission and got them running and then hit a wall. He was struck with a version of Multiple Sclerosis which severely impacted his ability to finish the truck. He has to rely on a walker or cane now to get around. After a few years I convinced him to let me bring it to my home and finish it. I have an air conditioned shop and have rebuilt a few cars, but never a vintage truck nor even a Chevy. So right now my plan is to put the front clip back together with bumpers and lights, re-do the interior including sound insulation, blue tooth radio, new gauges, and finally install the wood / stainless steel trim bed. Thank you to LMC for being a great supplier.
