1975 Chevy K10 – Dusty B.
I bought this 1975 Chevy Cheyenne k10 off of the second owner in Reno Nevada of April 2025. Steve had owned the truck for about 28 years and had lots of memories commuting it to work and using it for hunting and camping in the Nevada mountains. I purchased the truck for 8k and had it trailered home to Sacramento CA that day. Me and my dad, Bob, went to work on it immediately as it needed quite a bit of a refresh. Overall, the truck was mechanically sound with a fairly new Goodwrench 350 crate motor. Unfortunately, the truck came with lots of cancer. Both fenders and bedsides were shot with rust so we ended up replacing them with brand new parts. We did new wheels and tires to spruce it up, as well as a new grille front, rear bumpers and new emblems. I also had the body and paint done back to the original Willoway green which I’m told is a fairly rare color for these trucks, only produced two years. We also did some interior work with a freshly recovered bench seat and new original carpet kit. My goal was to recreate a bone stock showroom floor example of a k10 shortbed. I love driving it around with my family of 4 it’s a little tight but it works, we also like to use it for camping
