1989 Chevy S10 – Timothy G.
I bought my 89 s10. The frame had been narrowed with a 9 inch rear end. No roll cage. I notched the frame and boxed the frame myself. I redid the 9 inch with a full spool 4:30 yukon gear new qp 35 spline axels with a disc brake conversion. I built my 350th basically made a 375b out of it. I doubled up bushings in the sun shell used the wide direct drum bushing that was a weak point, but I built a 010 350 block eagle crank, a set of polished x rods that had been bushed for floating wrist pins, a set of flat tops, two valve reliefs. It’s a 3.75 stroke crank 5.7 long rods i’m sitting at 11.2.1 static compression. I’m running a howards retro fit solid roller cam 294/300 adv duration a set of victor jr heads and a tunnelram. I’ve had to stick cab mounts on it new strange manual brake master cylinder. I’m running 1-7/8 fender-well headers my truck is lowered, factory upper control arms hit headers b4. It was even at ride height so I then purchased a set of trz tubular upper control arms there was no bumpers. I bought roll pan for back a chrome bumper for from replaced all light lenses its on and on and on but lmc always has the hard to find and correct parts, what a god sent.
