1972 Chevy C10 – Chris L.

Bought a ’72 C10 over 5 years ago. It was solid but not restored. I drive my vehicles, no trailer queens so I drive it/used it while we restored it. My neighbor is 87 years old and has cancer. We had spent hundreds of hours restoring this truck. Finally ready for paint in August of 2025. Body work was done, decided to put on a cowl hood during paint so we got delays in finishing. Fast forward to January, we sprayed in bed liner to match color and it was awesome. This was Thursday and Saturday, there was a huge fire that destroyed body shop and my truck. Big beam fell from ceiling and crushed the cab. 5 years of blood sweat & tears gone in a flash!
The biggest heartbreak is the fact that my neighbor and best friend doesn’t have time to restore another one so we found a 1971 Ford F100 that has just enough things that need fixed that we can still have smaller projects for him to accomplish.
