1978 Ford F150 – Vaughn C.

I bought this truck new off the showroom floor at our local Ford dealership. That was January 1978. My first new vehicle. Now that I have had it all these years I look back at all the camping, hunting, and fishing trips I have taken with my co-workers and my family as it grew and the fun experiences that we had.
It has been in 15 states.
It’s been repainted twice.
I changed the stripe kit to the chrome. It took 7 trucks to find the chrome.
I paid $35 for the roll bar in the 90’s.
Raised the truck 3″ with the Ranchero kit.
Added tie-downs in the pickup bed.
Wheels and tires.
I still have the original mag wheel covers.
It has also been my work truck and main vehicle.
I pulled other cars out of the snow and mud.
Engine has been bullet proof. I have rolled the speedometer over. That dependable engine is the reason I still have the truck. I Built Ford tough.
LMC truck has helped the truck survive with operational parts to keep it safe and drive able to comfort and show-off parts to keep this beauty timeless.

It has been a part of me my entire adult life.
