1984 Chevrolet S10 – Robert B.

I have owned this S10 for 30 years. It sat in my dad’s garage since I was in high school. I bought it from a friend and had plans to put a v8 in it and get it back on the road. I was 16 at the time and just didn’t have the knowledge or money to finish the truck. It sat untouched for 30 years. Fast forward, I’m now 46 years old and have a 16 year old son. He has always liked things with motors, so I thought it would be a great project for us to build together. He jumped in with both feet and worked hard to get the truck to where it is today. We installed a 6.0 LS engine with a 4l80e. We installed a 8.8 Ford Explorer rear end with a 3.73 gear and a posi track. We used a lot of parts from LMC to complete the build.
