1968 Chevrolet C20 – David B.

My grandfather purchased this 1968 Chevy C20 Custom Camper for use on his northern Ohio Farm. My father remembers driving it around the farm before he left for the United States Navy in 1970. My grandfather drove it until his death in 1992 and my father inherited the truck. It was placed in my uncles barn and it sat in the barn until 2021. I pulled it out of the barn in early 2022 and began a frame-off restoration.
It was during research of the restoration that we realized that my grandfather had purchased one of Chevy’s 50th anniversary edition, Gold/White, C20 Custom Camper!
With the help of LMC, we were able to do a frame-off restoration that maintained the beauty of the 50th anniversary, kept all the important ingredients (including the original engine, frame, rear-end, transmission and cab) and we matched the paint perfectly! It was a labor of love and 3 generations of the Barrick family!
