1997 Ford F250 – Stanley M.
I have always loved an old Ford. Pickup trucks, had been looking for one for years. Came across one blue and white, but by the time I made the deal it was in a different province. It got sold while I was on the phone. Seen this one last fall, but it was way up in the Yukon originally from Vancouver Island, Canada. The guy parked it for the winter and then I took a chance in the spring and sent him a message if he was still interested in selling it. He said yes and my wife and I jumped in our pick up and drove 4000 km round-trip on the weekend to pick it up. I am the third owner first owner bought it new and sold it in 2025. He was 80 years old and couldn’t drive anymore. The second guy bought it just to pull a trailer to the Yukon with his father‘s belongings in it and then I bought it off him six months later. The truck has no rust whatsoever. It is just the Excel model, but the interior is all stock so I brought it home and done a few upgrades. I put the new rat support across the front from LMC. Then I bought replica factory aluminum wheels that were available for that year. I then put on a 4 inch exhaust from front to rear. It has brand new tires also has a brand new airbag suspension in the rear. It is an automatic. No matter what when I take it out on the street I get lots of thumbs up and people yelling beautiful truck. Here are some pictures before and after I bought the truck and done some work. Still debating whether I should put a 2 inch lift and slightly bigger tires. Haven’t made my mind up yet.
