My 1985 Dodge Ram was parked in my father-in-law’s backyard for 4-5 years as he became ill. After he passed away my mother-in-law asked me to get rid of the truck. As I added a new battery and removed animal nests I was able to drive it home. After the brakes locking on me and the carburetor not working I finally got it home. Then that winter a tree feel across the hood and I thought I would just use it as a “farm” truck. Then I started adding items to make it better and decided to go all out. It took several years of off and on work such as restoring the interior, window gaskets, wiring harness, and taking the dash out to clean out wear all of the nests were. I added headers, dual exhaust, moon hub caps, cleaned and restored under the hood. With only 57,000 miles it is still a great ride. I am proud to say everything works great now and is driven when weather is good.
