1951 Chevy-Lynn B.
This pickup was purchased together by my father and grandfather in 1952. It was used on their farm until the late 60’s, at which time they both bought newer pickups. In the mid 70’s my father had it painted and drove it until 1979, at which time he parked it in a small shed on the farm. It sat there for 23 years without running. In 2002 I was pulled out of the shed and began getting it into running shape once again.
The paint is now 40 years old but shines up nice. It has 17000 miles on the original engine and transmission. Lots of mechanical work has been done, new fuel tank, new brakes, new interior, tires, wheels and numerous other parts. Runs great! Fun to drive!
The photos are of the day it was purchased, the day it came out of the shed and what it looks like today.
