1964 Chevy K10-Jerry J.
My dad bought this truck when it was one year old. I grew up in this truck and it was my first car. I had my first date with my wife of 28 years in this truck. In the early 80’s my dad & I built the 283, bored it to 60 over and loaded it with goodies. Later with my brother, the 3 of us placed it on a ’78 4WD train. The running gear we found to be a hodge podge- had 308’s in the rear and 373’s in front. We had kids at the time that need the time and money spent on them- the truck then sat in my garage for 20 years. A few Christmas’ ago- my wife plotted with my kids and surprised me with a box of ring and pinions. She said it is time to get Blue out of the garage! Several LMC orders later (including replacing the rotted gas tank)- I rolled Blue out of the paint booth with a beautiful makeover. Blue is original colors, enhanced by yellow and green flames with devil tail tips and boatload of glitter. Load and proud with 2.5″ cherry bombs and 3″ chrome tips. Back on the road and plenty of attitude!
