1972 GMC K1500 – Tanner P.

The truck was purchased in 1987. It had 3 makeovers until a rusty frame took made it undrivable. After we decided to take the bed off to see what the damage was, we found out that the frame had several rust holes. After finding this we found a frame in Iowa. We went and picked up the frame and brought it home. We then found that the floor panel didn’t fit in the original cab. Then we shopped around for a new cab and bed and we found an Arizona body. We then took it to the body shop to get sandblasted and painted. We ran into a couple problems prolonging the progress it took to get it done. We ironed out all of the problems and the progress went fast from there. On August 2nd we were able to bring it home from the body shop to get all of the little things such as the trim and the emblems. Now we have a fully restored 1972 K1500 GMC pickup.
