1983 GMC K1500 – Matthew H.

This is my 1983 k1500 with the original 6.2L diesel. My grandfather bought this when he first started his company. He passed away one year ago this week. I am very successful and I owe it all to him taking the time while I was young to teach me right from wrong. This truck is what I have to remember him by and it is getting old as he did and has 223k miles on a motor that has never been known to last over 100k. When I drive the truck it is an amazing feeling because the people of our small town have known the truck for decades and it seems to put a smile on people’s face to see it riding around.
