1986 Chevy C10 – Jesse H.

I ended up getting this truck when I was 15 years old which has been about 4 years now. It’s not completely finished to exactly what I’d like but it’s came along way since then. It started life as a 305 with a 700R 4 speed auto and a 10bolt 3:42 rear end. I had my first job as an autoparts sales person when I turned 15 and I sunk every last penny I made before I got my license into it and have put plenty more in since then! I started rebuilding the 350 for it just before I turned 16, I had a 400 turbo transmission out of another truck that I ended up getting when I was 13 haha, I’ve loved these trucks since day one! Had a shift kit put into it, and after the heart transplant I got an exhaust and it all started to come together! With a few goodies from lmc to clean up the interior and wheel wells she became exactly what I dreamed of by the time I was ready to take it to prom to show off all the hard work my father and I have put into it. Even made a few changes after graduation like a new rear end 3:73 gear 12 bolt and lowering the rear end a little so it sat more level. I have many more plans for this truck in years to come. One thing I’ve learned so far is, Rome wasn’t built in a day.
