1988 Ford F150-John M.

I have always loved old cars, trucks & motorcycles and have owned my share. My truck story began when I lost my Mom in 2009 and then my Dad in 2014. I received a small inheritance and decided to buy myself something in honor of them. I found this totally stock 88 Ford F150 XLT Lariat 4 x4 Xtra cab long bed 1/2 ton PU. I put a lot of money into this truck; 6 inch pro comp suspension lift, 35 inch BF Goodrich tires, bug shield, visor and much, much more. I had it painted at MAACO in New Bedford MA and the lift kit put in by Motion Concepts in Taunton MA. I get so many compliments on this truck everywhere I go and people i don’t even know have stopped at my house just to talk about it. It’s such a fun truck to drive especially with the big tires. I am 58 yrs old and my 4 daughters tell me I’m not a kid anymore, but i don’t care. I feel young and I love working on this truck and keep it clean as a whistle. I have a 2013 F150 also, but I don’t drive that, I drive this old truck. I LOVE MY TRUCK!! I will never get rid of this truck because it has such sentimental value to me. I love your magazine and have purchased parts from you as well. Great company all around. I also have a lot more photos to share. Thanks for the opportunity to share my story.
