1963 Ford F-100 Unibody Truck
The truck, known as the Ghost, has been owned by the Place family for over 52 years. Gus M. Place purchased it new from Courtesy Ford in Denver the fall of 1962.
The Ghost has be part of many family adventures. Some of the stories occurred as a result of 11 Place children learning to drive behind the wheel. The truck was recently restored by brothers Craig and Matt Place. Gus and his wife Trixie would have been proud to see it driven in the 2015 Fourth of July parade in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, filled with their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
