1994 Chevy C1500 – Eric O.
| My First Love
I grew up in a small town where Mustangs were the vehicles of choice, back then everyone had one with all the trimmings and the power to boast. My first experience with trucks was about at the ripe old age of 11 when my father bought a 1957 black Chevrolet, however, I never had a truck of my own until I joined the military. In 1993 I stumbled upon the joy of my life a 1994 Chevrolet 1500, Predator addition with a vortex engine costumed out with a conversion package. As my favorite color is brown I had to have this magnificent vehicle. After talking to my wife about this beautiful truck that I had just seen, I was told not to buy this vehicle and stay away from the dealership. Well, to make a long story short my wife went to a field exercise for five days and to her surprise, when I picked her up I was behind the wheel of what would become my baby for life. Over the years I have dabbled and dabbled with old brown cosmetically inside and out until last year when I finally put the last stamp on her. With the help of LMC Truck, I have completed my project of restoring her back to her original self and some. Old brown has the original engine 187,000 miles and original transmission, the inside was customized by Barrett’s Upholstery, and painted by my friend Terrell. Now I get offers to sell her from Germany to Poland, and shore to shore in the U.S. But when you love something you can’t part ways it. Thanks, LMC Truck for all your help |
