1984 Chevy C10 – Ronald H.

I bought the truck in 1986 with only 55,000 miles on it. I freshened it up a couple of times over the years. In the summer of 2012, I hit another deer and the insurance company totaled the truck. The odometer is well over 300,000. I decided to try to rebuild her myself. I am not a mechanic or a body man by trade, so this is a very big undertaking for me. I started in Aug. 2012. I worked on it for hours almost every day. I disassembled it down to the frame and remember wondering if she would ever run again. I did 85% of it completely by myself. I got some help from friends hanging fenders and bleeding brakes. I had it painted in pieces and then started putting her back together. I spent thousands at LMC but my old Chevy is worth every penny. It was nice having most everything that you need for a project like this in one place. I have taken many pictures of the process and actually used them to help put her back together. I am very proud of what I have done. It really turns a lot of heads with the inferno orange paint, custom headlights, and taillights. She is as pretty under the hood with a 350/350hp crate motor, aluminum radiator, serpentine belt drive. It has a custom alum. fan shroud with dual electric fans. This is actually a brand new ‘84. Thanks for all of the help!
