1954 Chevy-Kelsey F.

Kelsey’s father bought her this 1954 Chevy 5 Window for her wedding. They had to travel a little over two hours to Martinsburg, West Virginia to buy the truck.

They purchased the truck from a gentleman who had always kept the truck in a garage. He had purchased it from the original owner who was his best friend’s father, who had bought it brand new.

Kelsey has always wanted an old Chevy truck. When her dad and husband found this one, they couldn’t pass it up. They only thing they have done is paint the 1954 Chevy 5 Window.

After buying the truck, the real work began. They only had a couple months to get the truck ready for Kelsey’s wedding day. Kelsey’s father and her soon to be father-in-law worked tirelessly to make sure it would be in their wedding.

The truck was finished in time and looks amazing.

The 1954 Chevy 5 Window still has the original interior. The previous owner has installed seat belts for his daughter, which is the only addition inside. The original engine also still resides in the engine bay. The truck tops out at 45 mph, so it doesn’t do much work or hauling. If they’re headed to a car show, the truck is trailered on the way there.

Kelsey never plans to get rid of this truck. It made her wedding special, but more so the fact that her husband, father, father-in-law and cousin all worked on the truck together gave it even more meaning.
