1989 Chevy 1500 – Bobby L.

I started out wanting to build a 1973 – 1987 Chevy truck but I saw an ad for a 1988 Chevy truck for a good price so I went and looked at it…I didn’t purchase the truck because it had a lot of things wrong with it…But I fell in Love with the body style…I finally found this 89 Chevy and for the next 3 years I worked on my project…It has a 350 bored 30 with a 671 blower with 2 600 cfm holleys, Trw forged dished pistons, Doug Herbert 630/ 630 blower camshaft, Dart heads 208/160 valves with Crower 1.6 roller rockers…It’s a 2001 NV 3500 manual transmission,12 bolt posi-trac rear end with Richmond 3.73 gears, Competition Engineering ladder link suspension, Equus gages…paint is Silver Pearl from a 1963 Corvette.
