1987 Chevy Silverado – Eric S.
I bought a stock 87 Silverado in July of 2014 to haul bottles & cans to a recycling center. A requirement for bars & restaurants in NC. The clear coat was peeling and the windshield was cracked but no rust or dents.
I retired in May of 2015 and decided to have it restored. Watty’s Speed & Fabrication in China Grove, NC was perfect for the project! They took it apart and lowered and painted the original steel gray metallic. They put disc brakes on the rear, had the heads reworked and installed Hooker ceramic headers! To make room for the 20X12 rear tires they did a very neat tub job. New glass from LMC and dash parts cleaned up the look. Next, it’s off to the interior shop. I can’t wait to drive it to Cars & Coffee.
