1952 Ford F1 – Ryan Reid

I purchased my 1952 Ford F1 back in 2012. It was a solid truck for the most part but i was looking for a truck that was not perfect and that I could use to turn into my dream truck. I wanted to do something that was unique with the truck. I didn’t want a crate engine that so many people do and I wanted something that would be low maintenance and a daily driver. A year after purchasing the F1, I bought a 2002 Ford Lightning truck, which has a 5.4L Supercharged V8. From that point on I morphed the two trucks together to make my dream truck I call “52 SVT” My best friend Carl and I completely blew apart both trucks and started to piece together and build the truck over the next 2 years. I took the engine, transmission, rear end, wiring, computer, seats. So pretty much the entire lightning truck was stuffed into the F1. On the outside people think its a 1952 F1 but when i open the custom built hood and they see a 5.4L Supercharged V8 they know it means business. Carl and I did everything but the paint and body work. I am so proud to call it my truck and know that we have built something unique and ALL FORD!
