1985 Chevy Custom – Esequiel H.
| I bought this truck about 14 years ago, at the Madison Classic Swap Meet in Jefferson, WI. First thing I noticed was the motor was not very healthy. It had the original 305 cubic inches with a 4 barrel carb. when new only pulled about 180 horsepower. So I shopped around and decided to get a 350 crate motor from Jeg’s This new motor pulls about 300 horses or so, it’s pretty decent no barn burner by no means. I have changed the wheels and tires set up a couple of times. At the present time, it had some Chrome Rally wheels from the early 90’s. I started working in the interior which was not in bad shape. This truck originally had bucket seats, when I decided up upholster them I switched them for a bench seat, which now I regret. I replaced the dashboard, steering wheel, and the instrument panel with a billet aluminum overlax. I did some changes on the front end. I replaced all the Chrome and the grille is also all chrome. I got the all chrome kit from LMC. I replaced everything up front except the bumper. IÂ might add that about 80% of the replacement parts and accessories have come from LMC. And I’m still not done!
