1983 GMC Sierra – Rich P.

My buddy bought the truck new in 83. It lived a “truck life”.. Towing, hunting, camping.. In 1995 I offered to buy the truck. He said, ” I’ll give you first offer if the day ever comes”. That day came in 2015. The funny is, my wife fell in love with the truck. She had one year ago and loved it. So SHE bought the truck.

It was in fair condition but had some issues. With the help of LMC, we replaced the rockers, completely restored the interior, rebuilt the transmission, tuned up the engine with a mild cam and the usual goodies. Installed an “over the top” stereo. Buffed out the paint, and it’s been fun times ever since.
My wife now drives her truck, (on sunny days), and says “I’ll NEVER sell this one”.
