1992 Ford F150 – Chris L.
Bought the truck from my cousin for $500. It was just a beater, but it ran, the 4×4 worked well. Typical rust around the wheel arches, the pain was faded and peeling, and basically everything was still original with 150k miles on it. Six months later, she was killed tragically in a car accident, which inspired me to bring it back to its original look. Its a Special Edition, and I have only ever seen 2 others, and neither of them are in the condition mine is now it. Body work, a vinyl wrap was put on, hand polished the wheels(a 16 hour job) to bring them back from 20 years of oxidation, replaced essentially all of the suspension, brakes, exhaust, ect. She is now sitting with 176k on the odometer, and looks great! LOTS of plans for the future to rebuild the engine completely, and a complete tear down of the body, as well as replace the interior as well. Til then, “Bec” is the one thing in my life that will never leave my life. My fiance’ and her daughter love the truck just as much as I do, and are very supportive of my pet project.
