1959 Chevy 3100 – Paul W.

When I was 17 I had a choice between a 56 Chevy 3 by the knee 283 and an old chevron service truck. At $800.00 the truck was the winner! Wow just think what I could do with the extra hundred bucks! I feel blessed to still own it some 40 years later. When you have a truck everybody’s your friend.
My truck was used for my wedding, and both my daughters’ weddings. It’s part of the family.
I did 3 major builds with it. Paint, chrome, wheels, bed wood, motor stick shift, and upholstery in 1981. Camaro clip, rear diff,350/350, tilt, a billet in 1994 and wilwood brakes, OEM wheels, AC and a hidden hitch to tow wife’s’ 63 aristocrat in 2018.
I guess you could say it’s under construction. Then again isn’t everybody’s?
