1978 Ford F250 – Quinn P.
Been a long time coming and it certainly didn’t come easy but here’s 2.5 years worth of beer, blood, sweat and paychecks 🍻
This Ford crew-cab started its life at the factory in Ontario on August 17 of 1978. I’m the second owner prior to the family that cherished its novelty before me.
Equipped with a 400 fe, a t18 4-speed and a married 205 transfer case these pickups were ideal for crew work trucks which unfortunately sent the majority of the 4 doors in into early retirement.
40 years later this now rare model Ford has a new lease on life. Sporting a modified 12 valve Cummins and 5-speed overdrive, between the rails of a restored cab and chassis, and updated running gear with modern day amenities found in today’s trucks.
Not only does this truck present comfort, efficiency and reliability, it does so with elegance in a class all its own.
Among this album are some of the pictures, part numbers, and history of progression showcasing my workmanship, goals, challenges and pride that surround my “dream build”
More to come, Thanks & Enjoy
