1972 GMC Pick-up – Robert M.
I bought the truck over 30 years ago. It was one of the “backrow beauties” at a car lot. Over the years I have done a lot of work to it and relied heavily on LMC Truck to obtain everything from sheet metal to motor parts. Many of the parts have been chrome-plated and others have been painted. The exterior has a dark blue sapphire base coat and harlequin two tone paint scheme that changes colors from blue to purple, depending on the angle. The flames are a combination of two harlequin paint schemes that change to many colors including gold, magenta, purple, and blue. The truck has the original interior and has been painted blue sapphire. The door panels reflect the original detailed trim. Carpet has been replaced and seat has been reupholstered. The tailgate has been replaced and the bed has been sprayed with a protective bed liner. It has 155,000 actual miles. The transmission and motor have been rebuilt. The kids and grandkids love to go for a ride in it and attract the attention of other drivers.
