1981 GMC High Sierra- Steve K.

I’ve always loved the “square body” GM trucks. My dad had a 1978 Chevy Custom Deluxe and I had a lot of good memories as a kid riding in that truck. When I got the opportunity to buy this truck in 2006, I didn’t hesitate. At that time, I was in college and it wasn’t practical or affordable for me to buy an old truck. Thankfully, my dad decided to go half way with me so I could buy the truck. A couple of years later, I saved up money and payed the truck off.

The truck has always been a Wisconsin truck. It has the original 305 V8 engine with 169,000 miles. Over time, LMC truck has always had the part I needed for my truck. The truck is not perfect, but it’s something fun to work on and make memories with.
