Grandpa’s Truck

My grandparents bought my truck new in 1982 when my grandfather retired from a local steel mill with the intentions of using it on their small farm. When he hauled the first load of feed in the back of the truck, it scuffed the paint a little. My grandmother saw the scuffs and took over the truck making it a grocery getter.

My Grandfather passed away in 2007, and the truck sat for many years. I got the truck in 2016 with 51,000 miles on the speedometer. It needed a new water pump, fuel pump and a few other things from sitting that long. The paint is still original, and my son just used it in his wedding.
