1982 Chevy C30 – Joshua S.
Odd Man Inn
Odd Man Inn Animal Refuge is a rescue facility and sanctuary fir farm animals. Our truck is a MAJOR asset to us, though most would just see it as junk. It’s a 1982 Chevy C-30 Dually dumper with removable sides and hidden gooseneck hitch. We haul away old bedding, trash, recycling, poops, compost…. we haul in shavings, drain rock, grain, fresh produce and pretty much everything we need. It was purchased from a landscape company in Yakima, Wa… and sine there’s no rest for the weary, it works EVERY DAY for us.
Its got a white door inside. A brown door on the other side. The dash is so cracked and dry, it’s like a Saharan dunes. The speedometer has no needle, and the dash lights sometimes stay on. It’s what our non-profit can afford, and we love it. LMC just supplied our new seatbelt. THANKS!!! Sure we watch your install videos and drool over restored trucks, but you know what? We just started a program supplying fresh Produce, not only for our animals, but for a Veterans’ shelter and kitchen. We keep costs low and our ego tiny, to be able to do more. Anyway. This is our truck. Ol’ Black. We GOTTA keep it on the road!!!![lmc_story_gallery]
