The Franken-Truck

I’m currently 18 years old and just finished a frame off restoration on a 1992 F-150 using a 95 and 94 parts truck. When I was 15 a local farmer gave me a 1995 F-150 to use as my first truck. Unfortunately, after driving the truck for 6 months the frame cracked and I started looking for a new truck. I wanted a rust free 92-96 F-150 with a V-8 and four-wheel drive. I could not find a truck that met these specifications. I decided I would have to build the truck that a wanted.

I found one truck with a clean frame and bed and another one with a 351W engine and a manual transmission and started my project. I took both trucks apart, had the frame galvanized, rebuilt the transmission, changed all gaskets/seals in the engine, changed all the wear items on the truck and re-assembled. I used LMC truck for lots of the exterior and interior parts.[lmc_story_gallery]
