1991 K1500 Z71 Extended cab

I purchased my 1991 Ol’ Gray in Oct. 1997 with the notion that “Well, this truck will get me by until I find something better”. 23 years and 334,000 miles have gone by and we are still growing old together. I tried to sell him twice many years ago when his paint was faded and he wasn’t much to look at. He got a makeover about 4 years ago and now I can’t count the number of offers that I have turned down. He gets me to work every day, drives my lovely wife and all six of my grandkids around, hauls a jon boat and pulls a trailer when I ask him to. He still has the original 5.7 350 and 2 transmission rebuilds. The best part of all is that it still makes me grin when I turn that key over and he fires up ready to go.[lmc_story_gallery]
