1969 Chevy K20 – Ray B.

This is my ’69 pickup that I bought in 10th grade.  I’m now 53 .  I traded a ’69 Chevelle and $300 for the truck.  Over the years, the truck has gone through a few changes to get from a rusty old truck to the truck it is today.  My truck started off with a 307 cid and 2 barrel, 4 speed manual tranny (granny first), and 3 gear transfer case.  The axles are Dana 44 front 60 rear with 4.56 gears.  I kept the tranny, transfer case, and axles.  I added a locker rear limited slip front with 44″ x 18.5 x 16.5 Super Swampers on 14″ wide rims.  It has 8″ suspension and 8″ body lift.  The motor is now a 383 stroker with a 750 cfm Holley with about 400 hp.  There are a few more to changes to go (bucket seats , electric retractable steps, and under body lights).  This truck will always be a work in progress.

Thanks,

Ray
