I originally purchased this truck as a barn find in 2010. The intent was to use it as a project truck for Habitat For Humanity projects. Soon after getting it safe to drive it caught on fire due to a gas leak. Needless to say painting/Ruby Red Trim color from Ford, new interior, new wiring harness an upgrade from a 302 Farm Engine to a 351 Windsor from Summit Racing, rear disc brakes to stop it, all new body mounts and basically everything from the ground up. Virtually every part is a LMC purchase. I did have to teach myself how to repair and polish Stainless Steel Trim.
It has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever done. And for the first five years it was used for church projects as well as Habitat For Humanity projects. Everything works on it but now I don’t drive it in the woods or in the rain.
