My Dad bought this 1972 Chevrolet C10 with the Highlander option, new on 4/19/1972 from Hudiburg Chevrolet Dealership in Richland Hills, TX. He paid $3450.00 drive out for it and it has been in the family ever since. He was a machinist for General Dynamics in Fort Worth, Tx for 32 years and that’s why he was a perfectionist. He took care of this truck like it was one of his children. When he died in 2003, at the age of 80, no one but him had changed the oil in it or washed it. Upon his death he left the truck to me, his oldest son. I later gave it to my son who took care of it for the next 20 years. He has just recently asked me to take care of it again on my country farm in East Texas. It is all original, just like it came from the factory. It has never been restored, although it now has 248,000 miles on it. It still looks new because of the care it has received from 3 generations of family ownership. The photos speak for themselves.
