1963 Ford F250 – Keith K.

I was asked by my dad in 1976 to take his old truck and clean it up. It is an original 1963 F260 flat bed truck. Stamp on door confirms F260 FB factory issue. I brought it back to the California Coast from the mountains of Northern Arizona. I have had it ever since and now my son has it. This truck has towed trailers and 4×4’ed from San Francisco back to Arizona too many times to count. When my son was 14, we stripped it to the frame and completely rebuilt the truck. In 1978, the 292 V8 finally gave up and I dropped a 1970 429 in it and adapted the T98 Manual transmission to it. In 2013, we replaced the drive lines with Dyna Trac F350 drive lines and disk brakes. This truck is driven almost everyday all the time. It was even included in my son’s wedding because his new wife also loves the truck and 4×4’ing. Here are just a few pics of 47 years of a good truck.
