I used to drive past a junkyard in Southeast MO and saw this truck. I finally stopped one time and ended up buying a red 1972 F100. This was located in a town where my grandmother lived until she passed away at the age of 99. Every vehicle she had ever owned had to be red, her favorite color. I parked it at my parents house until I could get a trailer to bring her home 6 hours north. During the 3 months there, my dad would start it periodically and then cancer got the best of him. Little by little, I have brought the truck back and still have a lot to do but she is coming along. I call her she because I named it after my sweet grandmother, Viola.
