1985 Chevy K10 – Ronny J.

Growing up on a Country-Farm, our son’s first truck was a family commitment. We found a local K10 for sale that was in good condition. My son and I took it for a test drive and pulled over into a Church parking lot. After making several trips around and under it, I asked, “what do you think?”, “Dad, I want this truck.” Knowing it would take a big commitment, I went into the father-son talk, “You will be driving an old truck to High School, not a newer one like your friends. It’s going to take a lot of time and money to build, but years down the road, you’ll appreciate the hard work you put into it.” 8 years later, and a lot of help from his mother, uncle, a good friend, and myself, it has been not only a daily-driver, but a work in progress and patience. Thanks to LMC with parts and great service, it has become more than we could have hoped for. A true Family Tradition.
