1951 GMC 100 – Jack K.

Two years ago, we bought this non-running GMC 100 pickup from a family member. It once belonged to my wife’s dad as a farm/feed truck. My wife remembers playing in it as a little girl back in the 60’s. The truck had set out in a back lot of the family member’s property since 1967. We bought it, stripped it down to the frame, overhauled the original 228 engine and restored it as close as we could to original pickup like when her dad owned it. We drove it to the neighboring town where my 94-year-old mother in law lives and took her out for a strawberry milkshake.
