Barn find. We’ve had it for about 12 years. Purchased for $2,500. The body and undercarriage were really rusted out, but the motor was in great shape with under 60,000 original miles. We did a rebuild on it anyway, but the 400 ci small block core is original. This model came stock with full-time 4WD (a local Chevy dealer said that was impossible, but it’s true). It has a transfer case, so we put on manual locking hubs since we rarely need 4WD. We tried to recreate the original paint job minus the awful looking rainbow stripe on the hood. It had aftermarket wheels but we found the originals in Dude’s garage and salvaged the hub caps. The interior is almost all original, including the AM-only radio. I can get pics of that as well. We have a place down in Southern Utah near Capitol Reef National Park where we keep the truck. The locals and tourists love it.

Happy to get you many more pics if you want.

LMC was a lifesaver. We found virtually everything we needed and the shipping was fast; the prices fair.

Purrs like a kitten. And fires up every time.
